An American Icon. Chrysler prioritized practicality, efficiency, and style by including: a built-in garage door transmitter, power door mirrors and heated door mirrors, and more. • Love Everything EXCEPT the Mechanical Issues!

I bought my '05 Pacifica with 40,000 on it and immediately fell in love with it. My first SUV. Very roomy and very comfortable. AWD and all the bells and whistles. However, the oil consumption issues have plagued me ever since I drove it off the lot. Engine eventually was totally rebuilt (under warranty). Didn't make a difference. Rear end went out, every sensor you could think of had to be replaced, catalytic converter more than once. I have to check the oil at least once a week. Chrysler says "normal range" is 3 qts between changes. What??!! My husbands semi doesn't use that much oil! Can't wait til it's paid for (about a month) so I can send it down the road. I'll miss the comfort and the handling, but I sure won't miss the nickle-and-diming at the mechanic's.

I've owned this ride since she was two years old with 32000 miles., Came from the Chrysler auction. I've never beat her, I've changed fluids when necessary, washed her occasionally. Maybe I've been lucky, she's done anything and everything I've ever asked. Read the Pacifica blogs, haven't had 10% of others problems. Replaced lift gate struts, tires, battery, brakes, wiper blades etc. One of the best most reliable cars/pickups I've ever owned.

This is the second Pacifica AWD i have owned and would buy a third if they still made it. Roomy, comfortable and very reliable. Gets around awesome in the winter with heated seats to boot and drives sweet year round. I love the dash GPS that appears within the speedometer. You can tell it has the Mercedes influence in it's design. I've had many cars, trucks and suv's over the years and this is my favorite all around vehicle. If there is any downside it would be the 19 mpg average. Otherwise i love it, love it!!!
